FISHING BASICS OF THE PNW

Hosted by The Works x Elise Wulff LLC - We are lucky to live in one of the best corners of the USA for both fresh and saltwater fishing! Join an experienced fisher-WOMAN to learn the basics of year-round PNW fishing/crabbing/clamming including:

  • What species you can find in our local waters, what season to fish for them in, and what you should and shouldn't eat.

  • What gear to bring (including what gear is the most sustainable!), how to set up your fishing pole so you're ready to go in any body of water, and which lures to use and how to attach them using the most versatile knots.

  • Fishing best practices, including how to be respectful and give thanks, how to avoid getting you gear stuck on the bottom, and how to not lose your bait while you unhook your fish.

Get hands-on rigging up your own lure and go home with a fishing regulations guide for the 2019-2020 fishing year. If you have a fishing pole, please feel free to bring to class!
